The Flathead Valley encompasses the communities of Kalispell, Whitefish, Bigfork and Columbia Falls. The Valley is the Western gateway to Glacier National Park, offering more than one million acres of the finest mountain scenery, more than 50 glaciers, 200 lakes, thousands of waterfalls and 700 miles of trails. Flathead Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, offers 200 square miles of surface area for fishing, sailing, sea kayaking and other water sports and recreation. your group will want to try our world-class golfing with a backdrop unmatched in the country - particularly in autumn when the days are warm and fall colors of the western larch, maples and aspen accent the mountainsides.
In winter, ski more than 3,000 acres of fresh powder on The Big Mountain, with a variety of runs to satisfy the first-timer or the double black diamond skier. A high-speed quad will whisk you to the 7,000 foot summit for a beautiful view of Glacier National Park. Winter visitors also enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing or sleigh rides. Relax in a Western saloon or opt for live music at a lounge or dance club.
Plan a stimulating program and select an equally enticing location. The Flathead boasts quaint Western towns, historical mansions, professional theater, including performances in a new 430-seat performing arts facility, community festivals, watchable wildlife and rip-roaring rodeos. We have more than enough activities to keep your group and their families coming back year after year.
Fly Delta, Northwest and Horizon airlines to Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) at the center of the Valley with easy access to all communities.
